  • Bogg Art Letterbank This project is a compilation of some letter design ideas that developed over time. I challenged myself to draw one letter everyday without repeating the design in a set of 26. Turned out to be quite a rigorous 26 day workout.     2013 Graphic Design, Typography
  • Santulan Poster This composition shows a tall Devanagari type drawing resting itself on a platform. The inspiration for this came from a balancing toy which keeps the centre of mass below the pivot point.     2013 Graphic Design, Typography
  • Plato's Universe According to a recent theory the Universe could be a dodecahedron. It is surprising that Plato used a dodecahedron as the quintessence to describe the cosmos! Plato (c. 427 BC – c. 347 BC) also stated that time had a beginning; it came together with the universe in one instant of creation. The posters visualize the five solids in space creating a surreal depiction of Plato's Universe.     2013 Digital Art
  • Akhand Devanagari Akhand Devanagari is a family of compact mono-linear typefaces. The letterforms are dynamic; typically round shapes appear more compact, as their verticals have been flattened. This ‘straightening out’ gives text set in the typefaces a streamlined look. Indeed, Akhand Devanagari is designed according to a modular system. All shapes bear a strong commonality to each other, without becoming repetitive. However, the curves in the modules have all been optically corrected, removing the mechanical nature that would otherwise become too dominant.     2012 Typography
  • Kathan Devanagari The project was done under the guidance of Mr Immanuel Suresh and Mr Satya Rajpurohit. Being one of the studio projects at NID, it has a limited character set and was done within a period of 8 weeks. The project was monumental in laying down the foundation for Akhand Devanagari, a display typeface designed for ITF.     2012 Graphic Design, Typography
  • Bricks + Type This installation jumped right out of some type sketches and notes in my sketchbook. A total of 7000 bricks were stacked, composed and painted to form 'Hardwork pays the rich', manual labour's cry.     2012 Graphic Design, Typography

  • UTGP 2013 ACDC This T shirt is currently in the final 10 selection of the ACDC category, UTGP 2013. Uniqlo came out with its 2013 edition of themed T-shirts. I designed this ACDC T-shirt for the competition, themed on the hit song, ‘Let there be Rock’. The shirt visualizes the intro lines to the song talking about creation of rock and roll through lights, sound, drums and guitar.     2012 Graphic Design, Illustration

  • TAD Identity System The brief was to design a logo for the discipline which represents a generic image of Transportation and Automobile Design (TAD). I designed an identity system which incorporates all modes of transport and establishes an aerodynamic visual language for the discipline.   • Phoenix Cricket Academy PCA is a state of the art cricket academy which introduces young minds to the physical, technical and intellectual aspects of the game of cricket.

    The academy is envisioned as a specialized sports institute where trainees receive wholistic knowledge of the cricket and are taught to rise after every fall like the rebirth of the phoenix.

    I designed this logo/emblem for them to brand their merchandise.         2012 Branding, Graphic Design
